7. He it is Who
has sent down to thee The Book: In it are verses
basic or Fundamental (of established
meaning); They are the foundation of the book: Others are
allegorical. But Those in Whose hearts is
perversity follow the Part thereof that is allegorical, seeking
Discord, and searching for its hidden Meanings, but no one knows its
hidden Meanings except God.
And those who are
firmly grounded in Knowledge say: “We believe in the Book; the whole
of it is from our Lord: “And none will grasp the Message Except men
of understanding.

9. If tow parties
among the Believers Fall into a quarrel, make ye peace
Between them: but if one of them Transgresses beyond bounds against
the Other, then fight ye (all) against the one That
transgresses until it complies with The command of God; but if it
complies, then make peace between Them with justice, and be fair:
For God Loves those who are fair (and
just).

* في

|
54. And remember
Moses said to his People: “ O my people ! You have Indeed wronged
your selves by your Worship of the calf :
So turn (in
repentance) to your maker,
And
slay yourselves (the wrong-dours),
That will be
better for you in the sight Of your maker.” Then he turned Towards
you (in forgiveness): for he is Oft-returning, most merciful.

|
61. And remember
ye said:” O Moses! we cannot endure one kind of food (always); so
beseech thy lord for us to Produce for us of what the
earth
Groweth,-its
pot-herbs, and cucumbers, Its garlic, lentils, and
onions.”
He said: “ will ye
exchange the better For the worse? go ye down to any town, And ye
shall find what ye want !”
|
|
|
They were covered
with humiliation
And misery; they
drew on themselves The wrath of God.
This becuase they
went on rejecting the signs of God and slaying his
messengers without just cause.
This becuase they
rebelled and went on Transgressing
|
|
4.
|
72. Remember ye
slew a man and fell into A dispute Among yourselves as
to the Crime: but God was to bring forth what Ye did
hide.
|
|
|
5.
|
85. After this it
is ye, the same people, Who slay among yourselves, and
banish A party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies)
against them, in guilt And if they come to you as captives, ye
Ransom them,
|
|
|
Though it was not
lawful for you to Banish them, then is it only apart of the Book
that ye believe in, and do ye Reject the rest?
But what is the
reward for those among You who behave like this but digrace in This
life? and on the day of judgment They shall be consigned to the most
Grievous penalty, for God is not Unmindful of what ye
do.
|
|
6.
|
91. When it is
said to them, “Behave in What God hath sent down,” they say, “We
believe in what was sent down to Us”: yet they reject all besides,
even if It be truth confirming what is with Them. Say: “why then
have ye slain the Prophets of God in times gone by, if
ye Did indeed believe?”.
|
|
7.
(92) •
|
92. There came to
you Moses with Clear (Signs) ; yet ye worshipped the Calf (Even)
after that, and ye did Behave wrongfully.
|
|
8.
|
154. And say not
those who are slain in The way of God: “They are
dead.” Nay, They are living, though ye perceive (it)
Not.
|
|
9.
|
178. O ye who
believe! the law of Equality is prescribed to you in cases of
Murder : the free for the free, the slave For the
slave, the woman for the Woman. but if any remission is made By the
brother of the slain, then grant Any reasonable demand, and
Compensate him
|
|

this whoever exceeds the Limits Shall be in grave
penalty.

10.
(190)
|
190. F in the
cause of God those Who fight you, but do not
transgress Limits; for God loveth not
transgressors
|
|
11.
(191)
|
191. And
slay them wherever ye catch Them, and turn them out
from where They have turned you out; for tumult And oppression are
worse than Slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred
Mosque, unless they (first) fight You there; but if
they fight you, slay Them such is the
reward of those who Suppress faith.
|
|
|
12.
(193)
|
193. And
fight them on until there is no More tumult or
oppression, and there Prevail justice and faith in God; but if They
cease, let there be no hostility Except to those who practise
oppression.

13.
|
216.
Fighting is prescribed for you, and Ye dislike it. But
it is possible that ye Dislike a thing which is good for you, And
that ye love a thing which is bad For you. But God knoweth. And ye
Know not.

(217)

217. They ask thee
concerning fighting In the Prohibited Month. Say:
“Fighting Therein is a grave (offence); but graver Is
it in the sight of God to prevent Access to the path of God, to deny
Him, To prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its
members.” Tumult and oppression are worse than
Slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting
You until they turn you back from your Faith if they can. And if any
of you Turn back from their faith and die in Unbelief, their works
will bear no fruit In this life and in the Hereafter; they Will be
companions of the Fire and will Abide therein.

246. Fast thou not
turned thy vision to The Chiefs of the Children of Israel After (the
time of) Moses? They said to A Prophet (that was) among them:
“Appoint for us a King, that we may Fight in the cause
of God.” He said: “Is It not possible, if ye were commanded To
fight, that that ye will not fight?”
They said: “How could we refuse to Fight in the cause
of God, seeing that We were turned out of our homes and Our
families?” But when they were Commanded to fight, they
turned back, Except a small band among them. But God has full
knowledge of those who Do wrong.

|
251. By God’s
will, they routed them; And David slew Goliath; and
God gave Him Power and wisdom and taught him Whatever (else) He
willed. And did Not God check one set of people by Means of another,
the earth would Indeed be full of mischief: But God is Full of
bounty to all the worlds.

253. Those
apostles we endowed with Gifts, some above others: To one of Them
God spoke; others He raised to Degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son
of Mary we gave Clear (Signs), and Strengthened him with the holy
spirit. If God had so willed, Succeeding Generations would not have
fought Among each other, after Clear (Signs) Had come
to them, but they (chose) to Wrangle, some believing and others
Rejecting. If God had so willed, they Would not have
fought each other; but God fulfilleth His
plan.

144. Muhammad is
no more than an Apostle: many were the Apostles that Passed away
before him. If he died or Were slain, will ye then

excitement) of the Distress, He sent down calm on a band Of you
overcome with slumbar while Another band was stirred to anxiety by
Their own feelings, moved by wrong Suspicions of God- suspicions due

“Indeed, this Affair is wholly God’s” They hide in Their minds what
they dare not reveal To thee, they say (to themselves): “If We had
had anything to do with this Affair, we should not have been in the
Slaughter here.” Say: “Even if you had Remained in your homes, those
